I wonder what itapos;ll be like to read peopleapos;s minds. Thereapos;d be no misunderstandings in relationships and what better way to understand someone than to read their minds and experience their thoughts? I can imagine so many benefits. Thereapos;d be no lying and even convicting criminals would be much easier. Weapos;d know the exact reason why they committed the crime and can better reform them. There wouldnapos;t be the silly cases of people not confessing their feelings for each other and end up keeping it to themselves all their lives.

But as much as it is a blessing, Iapos;m sure it can be a curse.

Thereapos;s a reason why white lies are ok. We all secretly wish to be accepted and loved by everyone. It gives you a feeling of security and confidence in yourself too. If we knew of all the little things that people were peeved about us, we wouldnapos;t be very happy would we? You know those silly quiz questions that go, apos;If your friend is wearing an awful combination of clothes, but personally thinks she looks gorgeous, would you tell her the truth?apos;. Sometimes itapos;s better to say a white lie and keep the world happy.

Ignorance is bliss. Not knowing the darker side of human emotions would save us from a lot of angst as we try to hold firm to our childhood beliefs that the world is a happy place of sunshine, bubbles, laughter, cotton candy, rainbow sprinkles and love (:

But all the same, Iapos;d really love to be able to read your mind. Even if Iapos;m only going to be disappointed at the end.
